Last week, Alex and I took a day off and went to the Fort Worth Zoo. Despite the beautiful spring weather, the crowds were really light. It was lovely to spend the afternoon wandering around, admiring the animals together.
Lately, I’ve been bringing my CampSnap camera with me everywhere. It’s a digital camera, but there’s no back screen to check your shots, so you don’t see the pictures until you upload them later.
It allows you to just take the photo and move on instead of obsessing over whether it’s “good” or not. It also looks and feels like using a disposable camera, which is so nostalgic to me. I just love it!
I am always dragging Alex into these photo booths and i’m so happy he indulges me. They’re my favorittteee
Here’s where I hung my purse knowing it was a place I might easily forget it.
I did indeed forget it… but thankfully remembered before we got to far and found it in the same spot.
I mentioned in a recent YouTube video that I wanted to use this blog more casually, so I figured sharing some pictures from our recent zoo trip would be a fun start.
Thanks for looking and I hope you have a great day!

Great pics. Look like you had a good time. What was the bird’s wing span you two stood in front of? eagle?
It looks great and fun, thank you for sharing with us Kelly and Alex. I love watching your videos on YouTube, it relaxed me and it brings me joy to see how joyful you two are with each other. Hopefully, one day I could find that same joy with someone that y'all two share with each other.
